Traditional Slat-Back Swing for Classic Homes
The LuxCraft 5' Classic Swing is the full-size take on our most traditional design. It keeps the 27-inch vertical-slat back of the 4' version and widens the seat to 60 inches. The look feels right at home on Craftsman, Colonial, Federal and Victorian houses. It weighs 83 pounds and gives two adults a comfortable place to sit together.
Five Feet Fits the Typical Porch
A 5' swing is the standard choice for residential porches. It spans the usual beam spacing, fills the space without crowding it, and seats a couple with room left over. Three people can squeeze on for a quick visit. If your porch is long or deep, this is the size that keeps the proportions looking balanced.
Balanced Weight, Quiet Motion
At 83 pounds, the Classic has enough heft to swing in a smooth line with no side wobble, yet it is light enough for two people to hang. The upright slats leave space between each board. Breezes pass through the back, so it does not trap heat against you on warm afternoons.
Hardware, Stands and Pairings
Chain and mounting hardware are not included, which lets you pick what fits your porch. The Stainless Steel Swing Hanger Kit covers a ceiling-beam install. Environmentally Friendly
Poly is High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a recyclable plastic derived from post-consumer waste such as milk and detergent bottles. This material is cleaned in a decontamination process to a purity level of over 99% HDPE, then compounded into solid board stock material. The resulting product contains over 90% recycled post consumer waste by weight.
