e-NRG Bioethanol Fuel - 1 Case / 16 Quarts

One case, four gallons, sixteen quart bottles. On an AB8 burner that is roughly six or seven evenings; on the smallest burners in the range it is most of a season.

Key features

96 to 97 percent
The alcohol content is the whole specification. Below it the flame gets lazy and the burn shortens; above it the fuel stops being stable to handle. e-NRG is blended to sit in that band every time.
Heat, water vapour and carbon dioxide
That is the complete list of what leaves the burner. No smoke, no soot, no ash, and nothing to sweep out of the table in the morning.
Scent at either end only
You will notice it when you light the burner and when you put it out. In between there is nothing to smell, which is the difference between sitting upwind and not caring where you sit.
A flame arrester in every bottle
The bottle is fitted with a device that stops fuel igniting if it meets a spark or a flame while you are pouring. Refuelling is the moment that goes wrong, so it is the moment worth engineering.
Certified where it is sold
UL 1370 in the United States, EN 16647 in Europe. Using anything else in an EcoSmart burner voids the warranty and the manufacturer's liability with it.

EcoSmart Fire R530 Fire Screen

EcoSmart Fire R530 Fire Screen

The round-burner screen. Four panels around a Pod, an Ark or a Martini, low enough that it does not turn the fire into an exhibit and tall enough to do the job.

Key features

A flame that stands still
Moving air is what makes an outdoor flame wander, gutter and burn through a fill faster than it should. Four panels of glass around it and the fire behaves the way it does indoors.
Glass chosen for how it fails
Ultra-low-iron toughened glass, specified to break into small blunt pieces rather than shards. On a table people lean over, that is the property that matters most.
Nothing to fix, nothing to store
It sits over the opening under its own weight. Lift it off when you want the fire open, put it back when the wind gets up.

ESF.5.A.BC.AB8

EcoSmart Fire AB8 Burner Cover

EcoSmart Fire AB8 Burner Cover

Left open to the weather, a burner's fuel well collects rain, dew and debris — and that's what actually shortens its life, not everyday use. This cover is a custom-molded silicone shield sized to the AB8 burner, keeping it dry and protected whenever the fire isn't lit. It fits every AB8 model — Pod 30, Pod 40, Ark 40, Base 40, Martini 50 and Manhattan 50 — at $65.

Key features

Why it matters
Water sitting in an open burner well dilutes whatever fuel is left behind. The next time the fire is lit, the flame burns low, uneven and is hard to control — keeping the well dry is what actually protects it.
Built to seal out the weather
A thick, custom-molded silicone shield, not a tarp or an adhesive strip. It hugs the shape of the burner well and holds itself in place by its own weight and grip — no glue, straps or fasteners — and resists sun, heat and cold without cracking.
What it keeps out
Rain, dew, dirt and dust all stay out of the well while the burner sits unused, so nothing clogs the fuel path, stains the stainless steel, or scratches the finish.
Simple to use
Fit it over the well once the burner has cooled, and lift it off in one motion when it's time to light the fire again.
Finish the job
Add a Glass Cover Plate on top and the burner well is fully sealed against the weather while doubling as usable table surface when the fire isn't lit.

Indoor Safety Tray (Required for Indoor Use)

ESF.2.A.AB8TT.BL

EcoSmart Fire AB8 Indoor Safety Tray

EcoSmart Fire AB8 Indoor Safety Tray

The part that lets you bring the fire inside. The tray sits under the AB8 burner and catches anything the burner doesn't, which is what EcoSmart's indoor certification asks for — so if you have chosen the Indoor configuration, this is the piece that makes it official.

Key features

Why it is required indoors
EN 16647, the European standard behind this burner's certification, asks for the Indoor Safety Tray and the AB8's own efficiency ring to be fitted before the appliance is operated inside. It is a short sentence in the manual that is easy to miss, and it is the reason this tray exists.
It drops straight in
No tools, no fixings, nothing to line up. The tray seats into the surround and the burner sits into the tray. If you can lift the burner out, you can fit this in under a minute.
It keeps the surround clean
Anything that spills or drips during a refill lands in the tray rather than in the cavity underneath. Wipe it out and put it back, rather than reaching down into a concrete channel.
Black, like everything else
Powder-coated to sit below the flame without drawing attention to itself. Once the burner is seated you will not notice it is there, which is the idea.

EcoSmart Fire R20 Glass Cover Plate

EcoSmart Fire R20 Glass Cover Plate

For the round burners. Six pounds of smoke grey glass that turns a Pod, an Ark or a Martini into an ordinary, useful table for the months you are not lighting it.

Key features

Two pieces of furniture
A fire table earns its space for a few hours an evening. Drop the plate over the burner opening and the other twenty hours are a flat, continuous surface you can put a glass down on.
Smoke grey, not clear
The tint hides the burner tray underneath instead of framing it, so the covered table reads as one surface rather than as a fire table with a lid on.
Toughened throughout
The same grade of glass as our fire screens, rated for the same indoor and outdoor use, with no coating to wear off.
Weatherproof it properly
The plate covers the opening; it does not seal it. Fit the AB8 Burner Cover underneath first and the burner stays dry through a winter as well as a rain shower.

ESF.2.A.TAN.NA

EcoSmart Fire Tank Concrete Stool - Natural

EcoSmart Fire Tank Concrete Stool - Natural

The pale cast. Natural is the finish that reads as stone rather than as concrete, and it is the one that sits quietly next to a Natural surround instead of matching it exactly.

Key features

A stool that hides a bottle
It is hollow. On a gas/LP fire table the propane bottle goes inside it and the tank stops being the thing you arrange the seating around.
Or just a stool
On an ethanol table there is no bottle to hide, and it is still forty-four pounds of cast concrete at seating height - somewhere to sit, or to put a tray down.
Cast, not moulded on
Fluid concrete through the whole section, in the same finishes as the tables, so a stool and a surround bought together age at the same rate.
Heavy on purpose
Forty-four pounds does not move in wind and does not walk across a deck when someone stands up from it.

EcoSmart Fire Pod 30 Fire Pit

The smallest in the Pod Series, the Pod 30 is inspired by the shapes and forms of traditional pottery, bringing a modern update to the classic fire pit. Its smokeless fire provides a warm and inviting centrepiece to gather around and relax in front of, no matter the season.

The rounded bowl is crafted from a blend of green cement and recycled materials, specially formulated with Fluid™ Concrete Technology for a finish that is strong yet lightweight and resists scratches, stains, mould and mildew — the smooth surface repelling dust and debris to make cleanup easier. Available in Ethanol, Natural Gas or Liquid Propane, the Pod 30 complies with existing standards in the USA, Europe, the UK and Australia.

Compact enough for a balcony and sculptural enough for a formal terrace, the Pod 30 delivers the presence of a far larger fire.

Placement is unrestricted by design. EcoSmart's burner technology allows every model in the collection to be configured in plant-based ethanol, certified for indoor as well as outdoor use, or in natural gas or liquid propane for greater heat outdoors. Ethanol models are installed in minutes and can be relocated almost anywhere without limitation.

A single open flame reorganises a space around itself. Seating turns inward, the light drops, and a balcony that was previously a passage becomes somewhere to spend an evening.

The Pod 30 does all of it in a footprint most homes can spare.

EcoSmart Fire has spent more than twenty years building open-flame fire features that need no chimney, no flue and no gas line. The brand established the modern ventless bioethanol category, and its work is specified today by architects, designers and homeowners in private houses, hotels and hospitality projects worldwide.

The fire tables and fire pits carried here are the outdoor-living end of that range. A surface in Fluid™ Concrete or Grade A teak, a Grade 304 stainless steel burner set into it, toughened glass around the flame, and articulating feet so it sits level on a deck or a terrace. It is furniture you put a drink on in the afternoon and gather around in the evening.

Every model runs on plant-based bioethanol, or outdoors on natural gas or liquid propane. No smoke, no soot, no ash, nothing to clear away the next morning — which is the whole reason one of these can sit in the middle of a living room or a poolside terrace and still look like it belongs there.

Inside the burner: one burning chamber, two fuel chambers, Grade 304 stainless steel throughout.

The engineering behind that is the part nobody sees. Every EcoSmart burner is built around a three-chamber architecture: a single burning chamber, flanked by two fuel chambers packed with Grade 304 stainless steel wool. That steel wool does two jobs at once — it removes the free air from those chambers so combustion can only happen where it is meant to, and it regulates the temperature of the fuel before it reaches the flame. There is no wick, no ceramic wool and no fibreglass anywhere in it, so there is nothing inside the burner that can off-gas or break down over time. The burners are listed to UL 1370 in the USA, EN 16647 certified in the EU and UK, and ACCC Safety Mandate compliant in Australia — and EcoSmart had a hand in developing UL 1370 with Underwriters Laboratories in the first place.

What arrives at your door was not stamped out of a mould and boxed. Every concrete piece is made by hand using EcoSmart's own Fluid™ Concrete Technology — poured, cured, and then worked by a person until the surface is even, sealed on every face inside and out, and brought to a consistent sheen. That last stage is hand work, and it is why two tables in the same colour carry the same depth without ever looking machine-identical.

Every Fluid™ Concrete surface is finished by hand before it is sealed.

Both surrounds are chosen for how they age. Fluid™ Concrete is sealed on every surface, inside and out, so the finish stays impervious rather than porous: it resists scratches, stains, mould and mildew, and holds its colour through long UV exposure, heavy rain and freeze. It is around three times more scratch-resistant than most concrete products, blended from green cement and recycled material, and light enough to move without help.

The teak is Grade A — the highest grade of the timber, prized for keeping its strength and its looks in hard weather — supplied in a natural un-oiled finish that weathers to a soft silver-grey. Either way you are buying a surface built to live outdoors permanently, which is what lets one of these stay exactly where you put it, season after season, and still be the thing the terrace is arranged around.

EcoSmart Fire fireplaces differ from traditional wood and gas fireplaces in their structural simplicity, installation requirements, efficiency, and combustion cleanliness. They require no chimney, flue, gas line, or external venting, a fundamental structural advantage that changes how they are engineered and installed.

Traditional fireplaces demand significant structural modification: chimneys create loading requirements, flues must be vented externally, and gas models require utility connections and specialist fitting. EcoSmart Fire's bioethanol burners install as self-contained units with zero-clearance construction, fitting directly into wall cavities just 365 mm [14.4 in] deep, or standing freely. Installation is measured in hours, not weeks, with no trades beyond basic carpentry or cabinetry work.

Efficiency distinguishes them further. Traditional wood fireplaces lose substantial heat through their chimneys; gas fireplaces release heat via flues. EcoSmart Fire achieves over 90% fuel efficiency; all combustion heat stays in the room. There is no soot, smoke, or ash to clean; bioethanol burns to heat, water vapour, and CO₂ only. This means no sooty ceilings, no ash disposal, no chimney sweeping.

EcoSmart Fire burners carry third-party certifications (UL 1370, EN16647, ACCC) for ventless combustion safety. The technology's ventless design opens installations where traditional fireplaces cannot go: apartments, high-rise buildings, spaces without external walls, or anywhere structural modifications are impractical. This design flexibility, enabled by the fuel's clean combustion and safety certifications, represents the most significant departure from traditional heating.

EcoSmart Fire bioethanol fireplaces are rated for both indoor and outdoor use, with the specific setting determined by the product range. Core bioethanol ranges, including built-in, freestanding and linear designs, carry indoor and outdoor ratings. Outdoor-only products include fire pits and fire pit bowls, built for open-air and terrace settings. Certain freestanding designer fireplaces are rated for indoor use only. Indoor installations carry conditions: the room must meet the minimum volume for the chosen burner, and some products require a top tray or safety tray before indoor operation. Gas configurations across the range are outdoor only.

e-NRG bioethanol fuel is the purpose-formulated liquid bioethanol that EcoSmart Fire specifies for its ethanol burner range, chosen because fuel quality directly shapes how the flame performs, how long it lasts, and how safely the appliance operates.

EcoSmart burners are engineered around liquid bioethanol and require a consistent, compatible fuel to perform as designed. Burn performance varies with fuel composition, which is why the certifications that sit behind EcoSmart appliances, UL 1370 in the USA, EN 16647 BSI in Europe and the UK, and the ACCC Safety Mandate in Australia, assume an approved fuel in the burner. Using e-NRG keeps those engineered tolerances intact.

Responsible use is part of the package. Every EcoSmart Fire order includes a Jerry Can with Safety Spout for decanting, and filling should always be done in a well-ventilated space away from ignition sources.

An EcoSmart Fire fire pit is made to live outdoors, and a little routine care keeps it looking the way it did the day it arrived. The surround is the part that meets the weather, so how you look after it comes down to what yours is made of.

Fluid™ Concrete

Your surround is handcrafted with Fluid™ Concrete Technology: solid concrete all the way through, remarkably strong for its weight, and finished with a thin protective color coat that gives each shade its depth. Because concrete is a natural material, it will gently shift in tone and texture over the years. That is part of its character, not a defect.

Moisture has more to do with how concrete ages than anything else, and the water to watch for is the water that cannot escape. Let your fire pit dry completely before you cover it, and lift the cover regularly so the surface can breathe. If it lives in the open, think about where rain, sprinklers and drainage fall, and protect the floor beneath it as well, since porous surfaces such as unsealed timber decking readily soak up runoff.

A penetrating concrete sealer keeps the finish resilient and rich. Sealers wear away naturally with use, cleaning and sunlight, so reapply at least every six months at home, or every three months in a commercial setting. Wash the surface first with mild soap and warm water, and let it dry fully before the sealer goes on.

Small chips are easily taken care of with a touch-up pen. Clean the spot and sand it lightly if needed, shake the pen for 15 to 20 seconds, and test it somewhere discreet first. Build the color up in thin layers, letting each one dry, smooth the area with fine sandpaper if it needs it, then finish with a coat of sealer for lasting protection.

Whatever the surround, a protective cover is one of the best investments you can make in your fire pit. Just make sure the surface is completely dry before the cover goes on, so no moisture is sealed in beneath it.
