Elite Planter (26")

The 26-inch Elite Planter is the tallest of the three Elite sizes, built for statement plants on a deck, patio or pool surround. Its sides narrow from a wide top to a smaller base, giving it a tailored, classic shape. Inside, a recessed pocket holds an 8.75-gallon nursery pot below the rim, so the plastic stays hidden and only the greenery shows.

Go with the 26-inch model when the plant is the main event. The 19.25-inch opening and 16.75-inch depth give room for dwarf evergreens, large ornamental grasses, small citrus trees or a full mix of annuals. It stands 26 inches tall, so it holds its own next to big doors, wide steps and open stretches of patio where smaller pots would get lost.

Instead of filling the planter with soil, you set a standard 8.75-gallon nursery pot into the built-in pocket. When the season changes, lift the old pot out and drop the next one in. There's no digging, no root damage and no heavy soil to haul. It also means you can bring a tender plant indoors for winter and leave the planter in place.

A pair of 26-inch Elites on either side of a front door or garage frames the entrance with real presence. Used alone, one works as an anchor at the corner of a large deck, at the end of a walkway or beside an outdoor kitchen. Its height draws the eye and helps break up long, flat runs of railing or wall.

Each 26-inch planter is hand-assembled in Sugarcreek, Ohio, using recycled HDPE poly and stainless steel hardware. The poly won't crack in freezing weather, rot in wet soil or fade quickly in strong sun. It never needs sealing or paint, and it can stay outside through every season. A 5-year commercial warranty backs every planter.
