Poly Footrest That Glides With Your Chair

The LuxCraft Glider Footrest is made to go with LuxCraft glider chairs. Unlike a fixed ottoman, it sits on its own gliding base that moves at the same pace and in the same direction as your seat. Your legs travel with your body instead of sliding back and forth on a stationary stool. It measures 22 inches wide, 21.5 inches deep and 14 inches tall.

The Same Glide System as the Chair

Underneath the top is a four-bar linkage, the same style of mechanism used on LuxCraft glider bases. It rides on sealed bearings rated for outdoor use. There is nothing to grease and nothing to adjust. The motion stays smooth year after year, so you can put your feet up and settle into a slow, steady rhythm.

Slats That Match Your Seat

The top is made of poly slats laid out like the seat of a LuxCraft glider. When the footrest sits in front of the chair, the two pieces look like a set. Open spaces between the slats help rain drain off, so the surface dries quickly after a shower and is ready for your feet again.

Placing It in Front of Your Glider

Set the footrest a short distance in front of your glider so your feet rest on it with your knees slightly bent. Because both pieces move together, you won't feel the footrest drifting away or pushing back as you glide. At 34 pounds, the base stays planted on the deck while the top moves.

Matched Motion, Amish-Made

A gliding chair deserves a footrest that moves too. A static ottoman works against the chair's motion, and that disconnect is easy to feel after a few minutes. Each Glider Footrest is hand-built by Amish craftsmen in Sugarcreek, Ohio, from recycled HDPE poly with stainless steel hardware. It can stay outside in every season, and it ships with a 5-year commercial warranty.
