Urban Side Chair

The LuxCraft Urban Side Chair gives the patio table a sleek, current look. Horizontal slats stack across its back, and the armless frame keeps the profile slim and tidy. It comes in dining, counter, and bar heights, so it works with standard tables and taller bar setups alike. Most tables look best with arm chairs at the heads and Urban side chairs down both sides.

Rated for 325 pounds, the Urban carries more weight than any other LuxCraft side chair. Even so, it weighs about 30 pounds at dining height, light enough to draw back with one hand. Once you sit, the solid poly frame stays firmly planted, even on a breezy rooftop or an open deck.

The horizontal-slat back reads as crisp and architectural, a natural match for modern homes and minimalist patios. At dining height the chair stands about 34 inches tall, so it stays below eye level and keeps the view across the table clear. With no arms to catch the tabletop, it slides fully under when not in use.

On a rectangular or oval table, plan an arm chair for each end and use Urban side chairs for every other seat. Square and round tables are often happiest with four side chairs. Because each chair is under 19 inches wide, you can usually fit one more seat per side than you could with wider chairs.

Each Urban Side Chair is built by hand in Sugarcreek, Ohio, from recycled HDPE poly and stainless steel hardware. Its color is molded into the poly itself, leaving nothing to repaint or refinish. Keep it outside in every season without covers or a shed. It carries a 5-year commercial warranty.
