This cover is a custom-molded silicone shield sized to the XL900 burner's full 39-inch channel, keeping it dry and protected whenever the fire isn't lit. It fits the Cosmo 50, Wharf 65, Gin 90 Dining and Gin 90 Bar alike, all at the same $75.

Water sitting in an open burner channel dilutes whatever fuel is left behind. The next time the fire is lit, the flame burns low, uneven and is hard to control — keeping the channel dry is what actually protects it.

Built to seal out the weather

A thick, custom-molded silicone shield, not a tarp or an adhesive strip. It hugs the shape of the channel and holds itself in place by its own weight and grip — no glue, straps or fasteners — and resists sun, heat and cold without cracking.

What it keeps out

Rain, dew, dirt and dust all stay out of the channel while the burner sits unused, so nothing clogs the fuel path, stains the stainless steel, or scratches the finish.

Simple to use

Fit it over the channel once the burner has cooled, and lift it off in one motion when it's time to light the fire again.

Finish the job

The part that lets you bring the fire inside. The tray sits under the XL900 burner and catches anything the burner doesn't, which is what EcoSmart's indoor certification asks for — so if you have chosen the Indoor configuration, this is the piece that makes it official.

Why it is required indoors

EN 16647, the European standard behind this burner's certification, asks for the Indoor Safety Tray to be fitted before the appliance is operated inside. It is a short sentence in the manual that is easy to miss, and it is the reason this tray exists.

It drops straight in

No tools, no fixings, nothing to line up. The tray seats into the surround and the burner sits into the tray. If you can lift the burner out, you can fit this in under a minute.

It keeps the surround clean

Anything that spills or drips during a refill lands in the tray rather than in the cavity underneath. Wipe it out and put it back, rather than reaching down into a concrete channel.

Black, like everything else

Powder-coated to sit below the flame without drawing attention to itself. Once the burner is seated you will not notice it is there, which is the idea.
